Travis County Judge Andy Brown has issued a local disaster declaration due to widespread flooding, excessive rainfall, and severe storm impacts. This declaration enables enhanced coordination of the following:
- Debris removal and roadway clearance
- Search and rescue operations
- Displaced resident services
- Expanded public information operations
- Coordination with state and federal emergency resources
Travis County Office of Emergency Management is engaging community organizations to assist residents with recovery from the severe floods.
